Soy de Costa Rica y viví hace muchos años en Hamburgo, Alemania donde estudié informática. De vuelta en CR nacieron nuestros hijos y descubrí mi pasión por la enseñanza. En el 2006 nos fuimos los cuatro buscando aventuras a Seattle, WA donde volví a la universidad por un Master in Teaching y trabajé en escuelas públicas como profesora de español y Matemáticas. Por la situación social y discriminatoria tan terrible en USA, mi esposo y yo nos vinimos para Alemania. Aquí desde noviembre, en Berlín, y actualmente estoy aplicando para que reconozcan mis credenciales como maestra en el sistema educativo público. I am from Costa Rica and lived many years ago in Hamburg, Germany where I studied computer science. Back in CR our children were born and I discovered my passion for teaching. In 2006 the four of us moved to Seattle, WA where I went back to college for a Master in Teaching and worked in public schools as a Spanish and Math teacher. Because of the terrible social and discriminatory situation in the USA, my husband and I moved to Germany. I have been here since November in Berlin and am currently applying for recognition of my teaching credentials in the public school system. I volunteer at Pressenza.com translating into German.
