The majority of them <strong><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">inherit this responsibility since they are young and they do it during their whole life,<\/span><\/strong> a freighter is easily recognized by the marks on their shoulder and some have a great protuberance that they exhibit with honor as symbol of years of carrying in their ways the steps of Jesus.\n[caption id=\"attachment_3245\" align=\"alignleft\" width=\"300\"]<a href=\"http:\/\/solkes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/1703_03-2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3245\" src=\"http:\/\/solkes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/1703_03-2-300x482.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"482\" \/><\/a> Mar\u00eda Elena Giraldo \u00a9 Solkes[\/caption]\nAlso the Sahumadoras, young women preceding the parade scattering incense and adorned with beautiful costumes typical of \u00d1apangas (mestizo or mulatto women from the colonial era); Sahumadora title is considered a great honor and a privilege reserved for very few.\nDuring the day walking through the center of the city is fascinating, with its old streets and beautiful white constructions that really transport you to another era, <strong><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">cafeterias that are more than 100 years old.<\/span><\/strong>\nDelicious <strong><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"><a style=\"color: #138a8d;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?client=safari&amp;rls=en&amp;tbm=isch&amp;q=empanadas+de+pipian&amp;chips=q:empanadas+de+pipian,online_chips:popay%C3%A1n&amp;sa=X&amp;ved=0ahUKEwiC4-Xvh7LkAhUG-aQKHam4AMUQ4lYILSgD&amp;biw=1543&amp;bih=877&amp;dpr=1\">empanados of Pipian<\/a> with peanut sauce and cassava of Yucca, Cholados and Champ\u00fas<\/span> <\/strong>(drink with fruits and fermented corn) it becomes and excel option to refresh from the daily heat, even the international restaurants that are found in Popay\u00e1n they make it a diverse gastro with tastes for everyone.\nYou cannot leave Popay\u00e1n without visiting the Museums. <a href=\"http:\/\/popayan.gov.co\/turistas\/que-sitios-conocer\/museos\"><strong><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">The Religious Art Museum<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, that has an extraordinary collection; <strong><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">Mosquera Museum<\/span><\/strong>, which transport the visitor through a great part of the history of the independence of Colombia, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.popayancultural.co\/museos\/casa-museo-negret-miamp\/\"><strong><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">Negret Museum,<\/span><\/strong><\/a> it has an interesting collection of Modern art and the Museum Guillermo Leon Valencia also has a complete path through the epoch of the Colombian National Front. Hundreds of pilgrims go on Good Friday, some without shoes with the end of doing the penance or sacrifice.\nThere is also the Metropolitan Cathedral of la Asuncion, the Church of Saint Francis, which has an extraordinary collection of religious art.
