O<\/span>H MOTHER, I LOVE YOU!<\/p>\n

How could I not\u2026 I owe you my life, the world, my love\u2026 We owe so much to mothers and often take them for granted! It sounds clich\u00e9, but it\u2019s true: until the moment you become a mother yourself, it\u2019s impossible to understand all the sacrifices they made for us.<\/p>\n

Motherhood is so difficult, so challenging, so rewarding. And after putting my daughter to bed, I want a moment for myself. Later, as the night progresses, so does the silence, and I miss my daughter. I never imagined I could love someone this much. Then I look at some photos, one or a hundred, and get into bed with her. We sleep together. In that moment, I find myself.<\/p>\n

This is a tribute to all those women who go to work with milk stains on their dresses, of course without realizing it, and diapers in their bags. From the moment they became mothers, they never had completely clean clothes again \u2013 that\u2019s an illusion.<\/p>\n

For those mothers who cannot prevent tears from falling down their cheeks when they hold their babies for the first time; and for the mothers whose babies will never see them.<\/p>\n

For those moms who waited for hours to see their children born. For those who chose a natural birth or those who decided that a C-section was the best choice for them and their baby.<\/p>\n

For all those mothers who chose to breastfeed their babies. They experienced a lot of pain at some point, tears of despair and joy, and then held a baby in their arms who felt absolute calm. Some breastfed for just a few months, others for over a year (I include myself in that group), and then were criticized for doing so.<\/p>\n

For those beautiful mothers who decided that formula was the best choice for their baby as a family.<\/p>\n

For those mothers who planned every little detail, and for the many who simply improvise.<\/p>\n

Ah, and let\u2019s not forget the mothers who constantly drink coffee and skip more than one meal, but never forget to smile and hug their little one. Who pack fun lunchboxes and organize impromptu picnics. Who play and sing in the middle of the street? And what about those women who haven\u2019t showered properly in days and have spent countless hours next to their children because they had a fever and couldn\u2019t imagine sleeping without mom, with mom?<\/p>\n

For all those mothers who saw the kitchen in chaos\u2026 and only sighed with joy when their children helped tidy up. And then cooked breakfast so mom would have the energy to play.<\/p>\n

For all those mothers who, like me, decided to live far from their families. Who have no grandparents, no uncles, no babysitter \u2013 only friends nearby who become like family.<\/p>\n

For those moms who couldn\u2019t conceive a baby and looked for one all over the world. And after hours of searching, they decided to give their love to a baby that someone else had entrusted to them for a better future. For the mothers who gave homes to babies and gave them a family. Hooray for adoption!<\/p>\n

This is for the mothers who defy all odds just to see their daughter perform.<\/p>\n

For all the moms who read \u201cGoodnight Moon\u201d twice a night for a year, and then again\u2026 \u201cJust one more time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s not forget the mothers who cry silently for their children when they go to daycare or school.<\/p>\n

The bond a child develops with their mother can never be broken. She carried you and held you. At birth, the umbilical cord is cut. Never in her heart. That bond lasts forever.<\/p>\n

As we grow, change, and become our own people, we can forget the woman who cared for us and loved us.<\/p>\n

This is a tribute to the incredible moms who stay up late or wake up early to have breakfast ready and play with their children.<\/p>\n

For those moms who work long hours and live with the eternal fear of not spending enough time with their little ones. When guilt overwhelms them and they have to take a deep breath to avoid crying. I want to tell you: you are heroes, you are an example, and you do it wonderfully.<\/p>\n

This is a tribute to the hand that rocks the cradle and also made the house a home. For that amazing woman who, after work, baked cakes and colorful cupcakes.<\/p>\n

How can one forget a house full of colors, dolls, glitter, play kitchens, Legos, and dinosaurs, or the patter of little feet? Sometimes laughter, sometimes tantrums, sometimes a frown.<\/p>\n

Mothers never lose hope when times are tough. There is always maternal advice, a sacrifice, support, and limitless love.<\/p>\n

From the tears of the night, through all the bruises, scratches, and bumps, to all those kisses and hugs given and received, to the words of encouragement and the countless children\u2019s rhymes\u2026 oh, the laughter, memories, those looks in their eyes.<\/p>\n

I just want to say: Thank you, Mom\u2026 for the love, strength, and care. For being my guardian and guide.<\/p>\n

I<\/span> will always love you. You will always be in my heart. I don\u2019t know how to thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for me. I think of my mom every day and miss her dearly. When I see my daughter, all I want is for her to know that she was the best decision of my life.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
