As I look around, up in the sky I wonder why things are the way they are. Why, for example, the clouds are fluffy and white? Why, for example, do the rays of light shine so differently on water? Why do they reflect the way they do?00 Sometimes I wish I could be out on the sea. I feel loneliness, I feel it more than I would like to. I am surrounded by people and many things but I am alone, I think.<\/p>\n

You could say that our world is more connected than it\u2019s ever been. I mean, it\u2019s a time when social media exists meaning that friends, family, and strangers who live miles apart can communicate instantly.<\/p>\n

But, when I\u2019m at home my dreams often roam around and they are my company, we are alone together. It\u2019s as if time and space is collapsing, bringing all sorts of people closer to one another. It doesn\u2019t really matter because so many of us feel lonely and can\u2019t seem to shake it off.<\/p>\n

So, I ask my self why are feeling alone even if we are together? If we are surrounded by people. What is that feeling that creeps in? What are these feelings of abrupt loneliness I get?<\/p>\n

We should come together. The young and old, all race and cultures, all religions and all beliefs.. they should come together.<\/p>\n

We should join together, laugh together, have fun together, and truly be happy together. But that doesn\u2019t happen, not for a long shot.<\/p>\n

It is no secret that telling other people you\u2019re lonely can feel scary, shameful, and self-defeating. But, expressing and validating that feeling can be the beginning of letting it go.<\/p>\n

Another stone-cold fact is that when a person feels lonely they can\u2019t see what\u2019s right in front of them. They lose touch with those that surround them.<\/p>\n

It is crucial to recognize that loneliness looks different for people at different times of their lives. Sometimes when you feel alone, you might feel like isolating yourself from the world, which only continues the cycle of loneliness.<\/p>\n

So, I think that lonely is just one word chosen to represent so much. To represent feelings inside that the senses cannot touch. Loneliness isn\u2019t constrained by age, gender, marital status or job title. It can have negative effects on one\u2019s mental and physical health.<\/p>\n

There can be tears, in the silence of sorrows or it can haunt a deserted room. Oh the lonely tears, a lonely cry.<\/p>\n

You say you are lonely. Are you? Let me invite you to my solitary world. I am lonely, that is how I feel. I feel the terror and depression of cold isolation. I feel that I am invisible to others, it is suffocating me.<\/p>\n

I invite you now to come bit closer and step into my lonely little world! I believe that hand in hand, we shall run into the walls against which my emotions crash. I believe we can swim in the deep waters of the sea that buried all my secrets.<\/p>\n

The rain and the wind, walk with us in life like a disease. They, like loneliness, worry the heart, they make us ponder, they give and take pain, they clean and set us free but they also corner us with savage helpless trees.<\/p>\n

So, I continuously wonder how the life cycle goes on. Day, night, winter, spring summer, or fall. Rain and sun, cold and warm.<\/p>\n

The midnight rain is most certainly wild rain. It is surrounded by darkness and sparkles of light that make us remember that we shall all pass. We don\u2019t hear the rain or thank it for washing us clear.<\/p>\n

T<\/span>his is a feeling that can be daunting. Like it never has an end, so, people can often be surrounded by friends and family and still feel cut off from the world. Slowly, you may begin to lose hope for the future. Finding solutions may not be easy, and you worry that you\u2019ll continue to feel this sad forever. But loneliness isn\u2019t something that you have to manage on your own. There is light across the tunnel. Look deep into your heart and soul and let go of everything that puts you down.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
