Actually, there is no place that has not been touched by a piece of our talent, our taste and joy. This is part of a conversation we had with Mar\u00eda Venedi.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"normalText\"><strong><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">Mar\u00eda Vanedi<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Mar\u00eda Mercedes Vanegas D\u00edaz (<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/artist\/3bTz5GLjVdMyErxuweRIIt\"><strong><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">Mar\u00eda Vanedi<\/span><\/strong><\/a>) is from<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Neiva\"><strong><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"> Neiva<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. According to her, this fact is really important because it determines a persons character and nature.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1419\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1419\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a class=\"der\" href=\"https:\/\/solkes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/1708_02-2-1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1419 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/solkes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/1708_02-2-300x482.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"482\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1419\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mar\u00eda Vanedi \u00a9 Solkes<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>For some people, creating something is a necessity, for others simply a hobby and the truth is that everything is correct. The thing is that when they do it in the safety of their house the result of their impulses is usually effective and satisfactory. <b id=\"blue\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">But, when facing public opinion, the perspective changes<\/span>.\u00a0<\/b>Insecurities, doubts, fears &#8230; all come to the light, perspiration all over the body and there is no turning back.<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\">However, this woman has a steady soul, she doesn&#8217;t quiiver. Her spirit is risky and it is a conviction of the power music has, in this case the power of her voice. <strong><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">Her voice has always had a lot of strength and power<\/span><\/strong> but with a lot of work she has seen it grow and mature over time.<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\">She decided she wanted to study acting. She wanted to live near the sea, to learn another language and that&#8217;s how she ended up in Europe.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"><strong>Her creative process<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p id=\"normalText\">During our conversation she tells me that\u00a0<b id=\"blue\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">her creative process is not an exact recipe.<\/span>\u00a0<\/b>It is absolutely variable, it does not have the same steps. For the past 15 years she has been dedicated to music. This sparked many questions for me.<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"><b id=\"blue\">Laura Viera A:<\/b><\/span>\u00a0What is music for you?<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"><b id=\"blue\">Mar\u00eda Vanedi:<\/b><\/span>\u00a0For me, music has been company, a way to realise that I am not alone and that the strange things that I feel or think, are not so strange after all.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"td_quote_box td_box_center\">\n<h4 id=\"quotesCenter\">Music is the manifestation of unity; art, physics, geometry, soul, mind, body, vibration \u2026 all in one.<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p id=\"normalText\">She was a chorus singer for <span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #138a8d;\" href=\"https:\/\/fonseca.net\/\">Fonseca<\/a>, <a style=\"color: #138a8d;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.marathi.tv\/cantante\/camilo-echeverry\/\">Camilo Echeverry <\/a><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">and<\/span><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Margarita_Rosa_de_Francisco\"><strong><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"> Margarita Rosa de Francisco<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. And, in 2010 it was time for her first album to appear, &#8220;Waiting Room&#8221; was the result. This showcased her taste for pop and rock. Her composing side also came through.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_1420\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1420\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a class=\"izq\" href=\"https:\/\/solkes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/1708_03-2-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1420 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/solkes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/1708_03-2-300x482.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"482\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1420\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Mar\u00eda Vanedi \u00a9 Solkes<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p id=\"normalText\">In 2013 she presented to the world the single &#8220;Que Te Revuelva&#8221;, which had the participation of Andrea Echeverri (Aterciopelados).<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"><b id=\"blue\">Laura Viera A:<\/b><\/span>\u00a0What would you do if you didn&#8217;t do this?<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\"><b id=\"blue\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">Mar\u00eda Vanedi<\/span>:<\/b>\u00a0I think I would have loved to be a dancer.<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\"><b id=\"blue\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">Laura Viera A<\/span>:<\/b>\u00a0Do you think art can change people, the world? Why?<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"><b id=\"blue\">Mar\u00eda Vanedi:<\/b><\/span>\u00a0Yes. Precisely because of its ability to show us that we are all part of the same, a single gear. When you understand that, you seek to do your part and to respect the way others are, to work as a team, you strive to hear other points of views, you stop wanting to be always right, instead you open up your mind and enjoy diversity.<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"><b id=\"blue\">Laura Viera A:<\/b><\/span>\u00a0What do you like most about being an artist?<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"><b id=\"blue\">Mar\u00eda Vanedi:<\/b><\/span>\u00a0I can reinvent myself and nourish myself all the time. Now I&#8217;m clearer and I hope that&#8217;s a new starting point and that it will give me a clearer path.<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\">I find it difficult to open the market, spaces, create an audience, teach people to listen, be manager, comunity manager. In many ways, it was a before and after for me. To find out that I could do this, the mass contact with people, the loss of privacy, knowing the proportions of money in that office and comparing them with music, wanting to fight for better working conditions for musicians, feel the competition more closely. Enjoying peoples affections, wanting to continue acting and not understanding how to do it, travel, study\u2026 it opened an entire universe for me.<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\">Maria tells me that her tv experience was a positive one. She brought to life Lupe in the telenovela\u00a0<span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"><b id=\"blue\">&#8220;All\u00e1 te espero&#8221;<\/b><\/span>\u00a0a production of the Channel RCN that was issued in 2012.<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"><b id=\"blue\">Laura Viera A:<\/b><\/span>\u00a0Do you think that being an artist and a woman is more difficult than being an artist and a man?<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\"><b id=\"blue\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">Mar\u00eda Vanedi<\/span>:<\/b>\u00a0Absolutely. I think this its so because the music industry, as well as civilization, was structured from a masculine point of view.\u00a0<b id=\"blue\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">For some years women have been opening the way, understanding their music and our role in art, empowering us and also giving context to our expression.<\/span>\u00a0<\/b>Thankfully, our voice is becoming stronger and there are men backing women up, supporting their songs, discovering what it is all about. We have already added managers, bookers, etc.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"td_quote_box td_box_center\">\n<h4 id=\"quotesCenter\">I think that things are changing, women are also creating a network, it is important that we work mainly for the sake of music and in that regard, men and women are vibrating the same.<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p id=\"normalText\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"><b id=\"blue\">Laura Viera A:<\/b><\/span>\u00a0What satisfies you the most?<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\"><b id=\"blue\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">Mar\u00eda Vanedi<\/span>:<\/b>\u00a0When people allow me to feel all the strength I&#8217;ve put in my work. In addition to many artists who have been sowing curiosities, tastes and creative options inside of her.<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\"><b id=\"blue\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">Laura Viera A<\/span>:<\/b>\u00a0Is it complicated to write?<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"><b id=\"blue\">Mar\u00eda Vanedi:<\/b><\/span>\u00a0It depends. I used to write what I used to feel &#8230; that part was easy. Then I learned some exercises, that part was fun. The most recent ? The most recent is called &#8220;The cure.&#8221; I do not remember all of them.<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\">Her latest album &#8220;Peace&#8221; is a declaration of absolute freedom. Together with renowned guitarist and musician Teto Ocampo, they created an album full of mysticism, both in music and in lyrics.<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"><b id=\"blue\">Laura Viera A:<\/b><\/span>\u00a0What would you say to people who want to dedicate themselves to the art world?<\/p>\n<p id=\"normalText\"><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\"><b id=\"blue\">Mar\u00eda Vanedi:<\/b><\/span>\u00a0That they should believe in themselves. I state this because it seems that she wants to evolve as a singer, as an artist.
