What does this mean? I mean it is the perfect image. Let us analyze this image for a bit: every tree is different, with individual roots. Every tree grows in its own individual way with its own individual shape.<\/p>\n<p>No other tree shares its roots.\u00a0A tree can\u2019t ever really forget its roots.<\/p>\n<p>But, a\u00a0tree has to grow beyond its roots in the same way that we have to grow beyond our baby shoes.<\/p>\n<p>Also, roots aren\u2019t the only thing that makes a tree what it is. Let me explain, there are leaves, branches, soil, rain, and wind, and lets not forget about the animals and insects that fertilize and aerate the soil and protect the tree by keeping pests at bay.<\/p>\n<p>The idea that we need to go back to our past in order to become who we want to be is false (personal opinion).<\/p>\n<p>But, there are facts that can not be changed.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">1.<\/span> Roots impact your past because they help us understand where we came from and how we developed into the person we are now.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">2.<\/span> Roots affect your life now because they help us remember what is valuable.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">3.<\/span> Roots impact your future because they help us determine what path to take to achieve the desired results and avoid repeating mistakes.<\/p>\n<p>Returning to our roots allows, in many opportunities but not in all, understanding. \u00a0It lets us learn and better understand our heritage and where we came from.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_15297\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15297\" style=\"width: 374px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-solkes_horizontal wp-image-15297\" src=\"https:\/\/solkes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/roots-2202_02-374x601.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"374\" height=\"601\" srcset=\"https:\/\/solkes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/roots-2202_02-374x601.jpg 374w, https:\/\/solkes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/roots-2202_02-187x300.jpg 187w, https:\/\/solkes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/roots-2202_02.jpg 620w, https:\/\/solkes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/roots-2202_02-299x480.jpg 299w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 374px) 100vw, 374px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-15297\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Solkes \u00a9 Solkes<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Sometimes it accelerates healing because it\u2019s difficult to heal the pain that we don\u2019t acknowledge. It also\u00a0provides context.<\/p>\n<p>Going back to our roots helps us with reconciliation. Sometimes grudges have existed for generations, building up bitterness, resentment and causing a physical or emotional separation from others.<\/p>\n<p>It certainly gives us the opportunity to learn and grow. It\u00a0lets us appreciate the familiar and\u00a0grounds us.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #138a8d;\">S<\/span>omehow roots are our foundation. But, the\u00a0reality is that roots are all entangled. Finding our roots and trying to disentangle them is a pointless if not impossible task. If you want to do something truly amazing and admirable, then branch out and turn over a new leaf and do what is both wildly unexpected and absolutely necessary: cultivate entanglement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why are we always talking about our roots?
