I<\/span> have come to a moment in life when I have questions, many questions. But, I guess, it is only fair to say that since the pandemic hit the world like an avalanche I really started to think and reconsider many choices I have and haven’t made.<\/p>\n

So, following that train of thought, I ask: have you ever wondered why is it so important for people to choose the right path in life? To change courses?<\/p>\n

It is important to note that, as individuals, we must be aware that before achieving any objective, we must have some things crystal clear. I guess that some could say those are values, ideals, dreams, things that you are willing to do, and lines you will not cross.<\/p>\n

Through our life, we need to choose a path in life. This is the hardest decision we can make because this is what determines our future and not choosing the right one can lead to poverty or sadness for the rest of our lives.<\/p>\n

Life is all about paths, decisions we’ve taken and avoided. Needless to say, that there are no two people in this world whose journeys are\u00a0the same. What people must realize is that all paths are different. Each leads someone in\u00a0a different direction, ultimately leading them to your purpose in life.<\/p>\n

Another thing that makes us consider a certain path in our lives is the eternal search for happiness. However, every person has a different perspective of happiness. For some happiness is to share in family, others have friendships, others enjoy the pleasures that life gives, I think that defining happiness, in general, is quite complex.<\/p>\n

Many of us grow up not knowing what we want to do with our lives. It can take years to figure it out and some never do. Many of us change jobs, careers, move to different places, and even different relationships, searching for their purpose and destination.<\/p>\n

Each thought, moment, decision, and experience leads us to a new path in our journey. These decisions will all inevitably take you to\u00a0a whole new path in your life.<\/p>\n

What is best? This is a question that all of us ask ourselves throughout our lifetimes numerous times. Choosing what is best for us is hard because we don\u2019t know what will work out perfectly and what we will fail to achieve.<\/p>\n

I have come to the realization that to achieve success in finding your way, soul-searching is a necessity. You need to ask yourself\u00a0“what do I want in life?”.<\/p>\n

But what is soul searching exactly? I think, soul searching is the idea of taking a step back, examining your life and yourself with the aim of replenishing the soul.<\/p>\n

That being said, most of us will \u201csoul search\u201d when we\u2019re going through a rut, or experiencing negative emotions that are difficult to deal with.<\/p>\n

But really, soul searching should be exercised regularly, easier said than done. After all, it\u2019s always important to examine where you\u2019re finding meaning in life and where your life is headed.<\/p>\n

Think about your strengths, your weaknesses, and most importantly your passions.<\/p>\n

In order to get to the heart of your life and have a more connected experience with yourself. in other ways, to look at your life with a fresh set of eyes.\u00a0Examining your immediate situation helps you discover what\u2019s going well and where there may be room for improvement.<\/p>\n

This process. the “soul searching” process It may take a day, a week, a month, or even longer, but when\u00a0you answer your question, your personal destination becomes clear.<\/p>\n

Obviously, the answer, this direction that you are searching for, will not come wrapped in paper or\u00a0fall in your lap, so don’t waste another moment, create an inner compass and find it yourself.<\/p>\n

Life is a journey down the road. It mostly goes straight, but you do come across bumps on the road. When you reach a bump in your life, you need to make a decision to choose the right path that you should travel on.<\/p>\n

What is the right path? Right or wrong varies from person to person. In order for a person\u00a0to choose the right paths in their life, they have to understand\u00a0where they stand in\u00a0meeting their needs and make decisions to increase their abilities to meet those needs. In which case, no path is definitely right, and no path is definitely wrong. Right or wrong is dependent\u00a0on the individuals, their needs, their personalities, and their circumstances.<\/p>\n

The bottom line is, no matter what others may tell you to do, at the end of the day, it has to be your own\u00a0choice and decision to act on it. The last thing you want is for someone to make up your own mind for you,\u00a0and to be in control of your destiny and\u00a0choices.<\/p>\n

Since 2020 I have come to the following realizations.<\/p>\n

  1. Our circumstances may be parallel, but they are not the same.<\/li>\n
  2. The choices may be comparable, but not equal.<\/li>\n
  3. Outcomes may be similar, but they will never be identical.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    I have understood that we should be grateful. And, I have always believed that, but I truly think that that was more of a phrase than an attitude.<\/p>\n

    So, one of the best ways to get started with gratitude practice is to start journaling.\u00a0When you look deeply into your life, you\u2019ll find plenty of things that you can be appreciated for.<\/p>\n

    Another great change that this lockdown life has given me, or many of us, is to start living life with my heart. By this to live every moment, to be present. Sometimes, in order to achieve this, you need to examine the relationships you currently have.<\/p>\n

    It is a moment where you can take ownership of your relationships from your point of view and do the best you can with the people who are in your life.<\/p>\n

    Also, something that is paramount is to forgive yourself for the times you can\u2019t do everything, be everything to everyone, and may have even let people down in the past.<\/p>\n

    Since 2020 our lives are filled with completely unprecedented circumstances. It is life-changing.\u00a0We have been faced with physical fragility, it has thrown our daily routines out of the window. Honestly, no one really knows what to think or how to make heads or tails of these completely unfamiliar circumstances.<\/p>\n

    S<\/span>o, in this new me… in this search for gratitude and new paths, I must say that we have been altered. We should take this opportunity to reexamine ourselves. We may approve of some of the changes and disapprove of others. Whether we like it or not, the immense crisis we are facing brings out the best in us, but also the worst in us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
